EGGDROP
Where it all began
Eggdrop sandwiches first became popular on the streets of Seoul, South Korea. What started as a quick breakfast idea has grown into a global food trend, loved for its fluffy scrambled eggs, soft bread, and playful fillings.
At CHOI Café, we brought this Korean comfort food to Austria because it combines everything we love: creativity, flavor, and a touch of streetfood culture.

The base

Every Eggdrop sandwich begins with the bread. Unlike regular toast, this bread is thick, buttery, slightly sweet, and lightly toasted to golden perfection. It’s soft on the inside, crisp on the outside, and the perfect base to hold the creamy eggs and toppings together.
The fillings
The heart of every Eggdrop is the egg itself – fluffy, creamy scrambled eggs that melt in your mouth. From there, the possibilities are endless: seared spam, tender bulgogi beef, fish or fresh veggies. Each filling brings a new twist, making Eggdrop the kind of sandwich you’ll want again and again.
